Ok first i have tried to find this and have found some post relating to it but not anyone that i could get to work. I am having problems with it and i have also sent a package to CCP to help. But yet again no answer for like Two weeks.
Ok here is the description of the problem. I am sometime writing in the chat box and hit enter to send, ban desktop. Sometimes i am clicking mining lazors, bam desktop. The one that give the most desktop action is the clicking on the after burner, useing the hot key or mouse. And then there is alot of other just clicking that does it also. But i have tested out the afterburner with hot key and mouse.
Any help or ideas to try would help and i would be happy to try. Some time the ctd are really close and other times i can go a couple hours.
I will go as far as saying i will give someone a million isk if they help me solve this problem.

thanks for the reply. I was going to test out the reinstall again. This is the second time i have reinstalled it. I forgot to metion that i have a second computer running another account with eve and it never misses a beat. So it can be narrowed down to something on just the better computer.
I have been testing it out for about 1.5 hours and it has been running good. I have not had any ctd, i will continue to test until tomorrow. So far the third install seemed to take. I am going continue the test tomorrow, if by tomorrow the problem has seemed to be fixed, i will send you the money. I never thought about tring it for the third time.
So if you would please post the name you want the money to go to gungankllr....
got to love that simple money......

ok....so it almost worked. it ctd right as i was doing some stuff to get ready to get off(market research).
Qwakrz here is the specs on the ctd computer,
3.2 amd 64bit xp pro sp1, not sp2(to many bad stories)
kt8 neo mobo/kingston 400z 1 gig(updated bios)
2 seagate 120/8m/7200 set in raid0 onboard/promise controller
Sound blaster live (updated driver)
ati radeon X800XT 256 (updated driver)
Connect to TKS (german telekom only have one internet provider)
i use a router to connect both computer and laptop to the internet. The computer i gave you the specs on is the only one that does the ctd. My other one is running fine. And this is the only game that i have trouble on also. Also i used the same downloaded filed to install on both comupters, so i dont think it was a corrupted down load. And for the application filtering that would effect the working computer so i dont think that is a problem.
I clear out the cash alot and still get the ctd. I use norton 2004 for virus and firewall on both and they are set up the exact same way.
I will check the trace packet, i will use the ip that it gives you. I just did a trace route and it worked fine. I have set up the ping funtion for 500 pings every 5 seconds at 1024 size of packet. i am at 115 and have one failure at the 15 mark. the average ms is at 150ms.
I just uninstalled the game and then uninstalled the vc drivers. I have reinstalled the video drivers and installed the game.
i will test it out tomorrow. thanks for the help.

if i have firewall/router issuses would that not be doing the same on both computers. to explain one rock steady and one ctd often so that is why i was ruling out connection and firewall issuses. And i am running a wired network.
i will look into the setting on the firewall.

ok for a couple hours now...some last night and some this morning, i have been running smooth. I didnt clean out the computer. It is just about a couple months old. So what i have did was reload the op software. All the way down and reinstalled everything. So far i have been doing great, had one crash to desktop but that was cause of the server disconnecting both of my computer so it was ok. Other than that it has been running some thanks for all of the help.
gungankllr i guess you was the one that said what i was really not wanting to do to try to fix it but again you said it so yea you get the money! please tell me when you would like to get your money.
